Dino Romani bir karikateistir. Birgün plajda karikatör çizerken suda boğulan ve son anda kurtulan Nicole adlı bir kadınla tanışır. Gün geçtikce aralarında hızlı bir şekilde aşk doğar.  Bu aşk Nicole'un piskolojik sorunları yüzünden ilerleyen günlerde garip bir hal alacaktır.
